PACER Center offers computer workshop for beginners
PACER Center is offering “How to Access, Download, and Play Free Digital Books for Children,” a free workshop for parents who have children with disabilities and who are computer beginners or have limited access to technology. It is Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, 10 to 11:30 a.m., at Project for Pride in Living Learning Center, 1925 Chicago Ave., Minneapolis, Minn. Advance registration is requested.
The Internet offers a wealth of free books to help children read, learn, and grow. Participants will discover where to find them and how to share them.
