PACER offers housing resource and information fair

PACER Center is offering a free housing resource and information fair for families of young adults with disabilities age 14 and older. It is on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, from 9 a.m. to noon, at PACER Center, 8161 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington, Minn. Advance registration is requested.

After a 9 a.m. keynote address, participants can speak with housing providers, information and advocacy organizations, and other parents. State and county housing specialists also will be available to answer questions.

PACER Center is a parent center for families of children and young adults with any disability. PACER provides individual assistance, workshops, publications, and other resources to help families make decisions about education and other services for their child or young adult with disabilities.
