PACER Center workshop focuses on challenging behaviors in young children with disabilities
PACER Center is offering “Understanding and Addressing Challenging Behaviors in Your Young Child,” a free workshop for parents of children with disabilities from birth to age 5. It is on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at PACER Center, 8161 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington, Minn. Advance registration is requested.
Judy Swett, PACER’s early childhood coordinator, will address:
- Brain development and behavior
- Different temperament styles
- Stages of development
- Strategies to help children get their needs met in acceptable ways
