PACER Center workshop addresses Social Security for transition-age youth
PACER Center is offering “Social Security for Transition-age Youth,” a free workshop for parents of teens or young adults with disabilities. It is on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Proctor Area Community Center, 100 Pionk Dr., Proctor, Minn. Advance registration is requested.
Participants will learn about:
- Social Security disability programs
- Supplemental Security Income
- Work incentives
- Plan for Achieving Self-sufficiency (PASS) program
- Ticket to Work
