“Reconnecting the Title I Family” Conference is March 17 – 20
“Reconnecting the Title I Family,” a conference for parents and education professionals, is March 17 – 20, 2010, at Sofitel Luxury Hotel, 5601 W. 78th St., Bloomington, MN.
Participants will choose from more than 50 breakout sessions, hear from keynoters Byron V. Garrett, CEO of National PTA, and motivational speaker Dr. Verna Price. Featured panels include national and regional education leaders from the U.S. Department of Education.
Registration ($175) is required for this 34th annual conference presented by the National Coalition of Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Title I Parents Region V. Parents of Title I students are encouraged to attend and should contact their child’s school for more information. School districts may use Title I funds to send parents and Title I staff to this conference. Partners on the local conference planning committee are the Minnesota Department of Education, Minnesota PTA, Minnesota Parent Center, Bloomington Public Schools, Minneapolis Public Schools, and St. Paul Public Schools.
