PACER Center offers technology workshop for girls with disabilities
PACER Center is offering “Technology for Girls: Forensics – Be a CSI,” a free workshop for middle-school girls with disabilities. It is on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m., at PACER Center, 8161 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington, Minn. Advance registration is required.
Girls will be crime scene investigators as they explore the science of forensics by fingerprinting, analyzing powders, making teeth impressions, and determining someone’s height based on her shoe size. They will test their skills by analyzing data and solving a mock crime.
To register, call PACER at 952-838-9000 or 952-838-0190 (TTY). In Greater Minnesota, call 800-537-2237 (toll free) or visit PACER.org.
