PACER Center workshop addresses Social Security for transition-age youth

PACER Center is offering “Social Security for Transition-age Youth,” a free workshop for parents of teens or young adults with disabilities. It is on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Cloquet Forestry Center, 175 University Rd., Cloquet, Minn. Advance registration is requested.

Participants will learn about:

  • Social Security disability programs
  • Supplemental Security Income
  • Work incentives
  • Plan for Achieving Self-sufficiency (PASS) program
  • Ticket to Work
