PACER Center workshop focuses on understanding Individualized Education Programs
PACER Center is offering “IDEA: Understanding the Individualized Education Program (IEP),” a free workshop for parents of children with disabilities and for professionals. It is on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., at Country Inn and Suites St. Cloud East, 120 Seventh Ave. SE, St. Cloud, Minn. Advance registration is requested.
Participants will learn about:
- IEP requirements
- Overview of evaluation
- Team planning
- Measurable IEP goals
- Adaptations
- Implementation
- Methods for resolving disagreements
