PACER Center launches new Technology for Teens club

Minneapolis: PACER Center is launching its new Technology for Teens Club, which offers exciting opportunities for middle and high school students (ages 11 to 19) with disabilities to learn about technology. The first meeting will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 25 at PACER Center, 8161 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington.

The club’s schedule is as follows:

  • “Introduction to Coding and Video Games” | Saturday, March 25
    Create your own video games and stories!
  • “Programming Robots” | Saturday, April 22
    It’s all about robotics!
  • “Building Websites” | Saturday, June 24
    Learn how to create your own website!
  • “Building a Robot” | Saturday, July 15
    Robots are cool!

This club will be a way for teens with disabilities to meet new friends and gain skills that could help them acquire future jobs in the technology industry.
