I Care Because

wy do people bully.

cruz, 9, iowa

I was bullied by someone who use to be my bestfriend. I know what it feels like. And now i dont want ANYONE to feel what i did. It had to end.

Itzel, 15, Texas

I just to think it was okay to call people "gay" or a "faggot" or a "retard" but ever since i have been watching Glee, i have noticed that these things are actually wrong and that it is bullying. Noone deserves to feel in a way that makes them think they aren't worthy or lower than anyone else. I think bullying should stop. For Good.

Jayd, 15, Hertfordshire

i care because people should not be treated bad there supposed to be treated right no one should be bullied at all

Denise, 9, Irving TX

I was bullied as a kid, severely, and back then there were no programs, no support. I can't say I will ever understand why or how kids can be so cruel, but they are. I pray times have changed and real intervention and support meet kids/teens where they are at when they need it most - before lasting damage is done. Nowadays I fight for the underdog and look out for others.

Sue, 55, West Virginia

I had been bullied since I was 7 until I complete 10 and it was really terrible. But now I feel better.

Natalie, 14, NY

bullying makes me sad

will, 12, illinois

My grandson was being bullied and the school never did anything. My daughter moved to another county just to keep my 8 yr old grandson safe. He was being attacked on the school bus also.

Vicky, 47, WI Tomah

I care because just imagine yourself in that situation wouldn't you want someone to help. So i care

Selwyn, 15, Brooklyn,NY

Everyone matters to someone. Whether it is to your family or friends, YOU MATTER! No one deserves to be bullied. Being different doesn't give someone the right to judge you. Nobody knows why you are different and they have no right to judge. Seeing all the bullying on social media makes me not want to have my future kids be in public schools. I hope we can all pull together and change this part of our society.

Monica, 22, TX

Bullying is a serious thing. I've been bullied before and it hurts. It hurts a lot. It feels like everyone hates you. I even thought of suicide when I was bullied, even attempted it. My friends stopped me.They showed me they cared. They made me feel important. They made me feel like a HUMAN BEING. That's why I care. We all deserve to be loved. Love you all. Hope you take care of your bullying situations and inspire others!
