I Care Because

I get bullied alot

WAN, 15, Idaho

I was bullyed then tured arround and did it to someone else...i dont want anyone to do the same thing...it was a big mistake.

Amelia , 14, KY

bullying is something thaat will effect a person for the rest of their lives and has serious consequences. I knew a girl in high school who was consantly bullied. She would tell teachers, but nothing changed. She became depressed as a direct result of bullying and ended up taking her own life. Please don't ever let this happen to someone you know. Bullying is a serious problem and needs to stop!

"Theres this disabled kid at my school, that gets bullied almost every day. He would get called names like- retarted, slow, or ugly. I was sad because the boy being bullied wouldn't do anything abut it, nor did anyone else. So i had to step up and lend a hand."

Savannah, 13, Ca

i hate bullying so much. We dont really have bullying in our school but we have alot of fighting. I will do anything in my power to stop bullying. someday i hope to change the world.

olivia, 14, east windsor

last year a kid in my school committed suicide because he couldn't handle it anymore. I've always been against bullying, but for me that was a wake up call. I've been bullied before and it sucks. I don't ever want any person to feel like they are not as "cool" as someone else. We are all equal. It dosent matter how many friends you have, how much money you have, or anything else. I care because I don't want anyone to feel so sad that they feel the need to tie their own life.

"If you see a friend without a smile, give him one of yours"

Alexa, 13, IL

I care because no child should ever be treated in a manner that they could get harmed. And everybody deserves equal rights.

Jomey, 25, Texas

I was a cheerleader in high school. It was my best friend who bullied me. She turned all of my friends along with everyone else against me. I would walk down the hallway with them shouting things at me. They made up lies. I wanted to die. I hated life. I couldn't see tomorrow. I eventually told my mom. She got me a counselor. It helped, a little. I now am here six months after the bullying started because I was strong and I had my mom by my side the whole time. I started high school being popular with tons of friends. I ended the school year with one friend. I am strong and no one should have that power over me.
