I Care Because

I care because I have 3 children & I don't ever want them to be bullied or bully anyone. As a parent I cannot stress enough the fact that all parents need to teach their children to be kind to one and other. Teach them that everyone is different and that is okay!!

I know what it was like. I had the strength to make it to today but it wasn't easy. The scars don't go away, you'll never get that time back or do a reset.

Really the only choice you have is to make a commitment today to work toward a better tomorrow.

max, 10, utah

Even though I'm 22 and soon graduating from college, I still remember that horrible feeling I would get whenever I was bullied in middle school. In fact, it's perhaps the most unfortunate, vivid memory I have from those years.

I care because i see a lot of people at my school get bullied, not only them but also myself and it hurts. I know people whose been hospitalized because of bullying and i know people who self-harm. When i see it happen to someone else... i talk to them afterwards to see if they're okay but when it happens to me, i just take it and it hurts so much. There's no one that cares about me when it happens, so i care about others because i know what it is like to have nobody there for you and i just want it too stop. I want it to stop so much.

I was once bullied for a very long time. Especially between the grades 4th-6th. It was a living hell. And that's why I'm standing up for kids around the world that are going/went through things like what I went through. I want every person around to world to be happy. That's why I choose to take a stand.

Tracy, 14, MI

I never got picked on because ppl say i was the bully but when i found that out i stopped making fun of ppl

sabrina, 12, ga

In North Carolina we have to do a graduation project. I chose Cyberbullying as my topic, wronte a 10 page paper about it and got chosen by 3 different middle schools to speak in ASSEMBLIES of 8th graders to tell how internet safety and bullying needs to be a MAIN concern by all. I had 16 students come up to me after the assembly to talk about their issues on the internet. EVERYONE: YOU CAN GET ARRESTED FOR CYBERBULLYING.
