ACT! Bullying Prevention Lesson Plan
Middle- and High-School Students Talking with Elementary School Students
Ready!
You’ll use a cool Web site, www.PACERKidsAgainstBullying.org, to help elementary school children learn what to do when they see bullying or are bullied.
You’ll be talking with kids in 2nd through 6th grade. How many? Ten to 25 is a good group size for this lesson.

Here’s everything you need to do a great job:
- Computer with Internet access, bookmarked to www.PACERKidsAgainstBullying.org
- -OR-
- Kids Against Bullying CD available for $15 through PACER's National Center for Bullying Prevention.
All the “go to” reference links mentioned below? That’s where you’ll find the info you’ll be talking about with the kids.
Also, before you teach the class, you’ll want to print off a few things and bring copies for each student:
- “Are You a Target?” and “Do You Bully?” checklists @ Smart Stuff > Spot It
- Games (coloring pages, crosswords, feelings chart, fortune teller) @ Fun & Games
- Coloring contest entry forms @ Contests
