The Project for Parents of Children with Emotional or Behavioral Disorders:

  • offers individual assistance, information and referral from parent advocates over the phone and in person to parents of children who have emotional or behavioral disorders;
  • offers workshops on the rights and responsibilities of parents in mental health, education, and other systems;
  • develops parents as effective advocates for their children with mental health issues;
  • develops parents as children's mental health policy leaders;
  • offers publications and handouts on a variety of topics related to children with emotional or behavioral disorders;
  • Offers support group information.
