Executive Coordinator

POSITION: Executive Coordinator
SUPERVISOR: Executive Director
STATUS: Full time, salaried, exempt status

RESPONSIBILITIES/ROLES:

  1. Provide administrative support to Executive Director
  2. Reply to correspondence; letters and emails
  3. Respond to and handle telephone calls
  4. Monitor daily calendar and schedule appointments, meetings and conference calls
  5. Schedule and arrange travel itineraries
  6. Assist with coordinating materials for Board of Directors and other events or meetings
  7. Assist with preparing meeting notices and agendas
  8. Take minutes for Board of Director Meetings and other executive meeting as necessary
  9. Schedules the logistics of orientation of new employees
  10. Provide orientation to new employees
  11. Assist with preparing of foundation grants
  12. Assist with Benefit activities
  13. Assist with building management and issues
  14. Maintain a current filing system
  15. Other activities as required

REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work well with others
  • Experience/skills in writing
  • Well organized
  • Good speaking skills
  • Ability to maintain good records
  • Excellent computer skills with a knowledge of Windows systems

 

SALARY: To be determined based on experience
