Minnesota Parent Center Overview
The Minnesota Parent Center is a unique statewide project designed to help families and schools build stronger ties to benefit students.
The Minnesota Parent Center provides:- free research-based training for Title I schools
- individual assistance
- information handouts
We help parents be strong partners in their children's education and encourage community involvement to help all children succeed at school. We can answer questions and help you solve school-related problems.
What's New?
October is Minnesota Parent Involvement Month, a time to celebrate the powerful role parents play in their children’s education with activities at schools statewide.
The month is sponsored by the Minnesota Parent Center, Minnesota’s PIRC (Parental Information and Resource Center) a project of PACER Center and cosponsored by the Minnesota Department of Education, Minnesota Association of School Administrators, Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals, Minnesota Elementary School Principals Association, Minnesota Association of Administrators of State and Federal Education Programs, Minnesota School Boards Association, and Minnesota PTA.
