Register Now for Sept. 26 Parent Conference in St. Cloud
Register by Sept. 21 for “FUTURE: Families Understanding Their Ultimate Role in Education.” This free conference for parents explores new ways they can support their children's education. Presented by St. Cloud Area School District 742 and the Minnesota Parent Center, it is from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sept. 26, at Apollo High School. Participate in Minnesota Parent Involvement Month this October
Parents and professionals are invited to participate in Minnesota Parent Involvement Month and celebrate the powerful role parents play in their children’s education. Attend the Free “Welcoming, Honoring, and Connecting Conference” Oct. 22 & 23
Come to the Minnesota Parent Center’s third annual dinner and conference to learn new ways to support your child’s education. The event includes a dinner (6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Oct. 22) and a conference (8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 23) that features informative breakout sessions and an inspiring keynote presentation by Minnesota Rep. Use this Resource to Find Quality Early Childhood Providers
If you’re looking for quality, nurturing programs that will help prepare your baby, toddler, or preschooler for school and life, check out this Web site from Parent Aware. It evaluates child care and early childhood providers in various areas of the state, then gives each one a star rating. Parent Aware is a project of Child Care Resource and Referral, a Minnesota nonprofit organization that works to ensure positive beginnings for all young children and their families. Learn more.
