The Emmy-Award winning comedian, late-night talk show host and star of CNBC’s “Jay Leno’s Garage” will bring his legendary cast to the Minneapolis Convention Center to support PACER Center programs. Join PACER Center in celebrating the grand opening of the newly remodeled Willow Creek Theater (9900 Shelard Parkway, Plymouth, MN 55441).  Emagine Entertainment, the new owners of Willow Creek, is donating ALL proceeds from ticket sales to support PACER programs.

EXCITING NEW HEALTH SECTION DEBUTS ON PACER’s NATIONAL PARENT CENTER ON TRANSITION AND EDUCATION (NPCTE) WEBSITE

The new health section on PACER’s NPCTE website includes a rich variety of resources and specific information on important issues such as:

  • Health transition planning and the Individual
  • Transitioning to health care providers who serve adults
  • Building self-advocacy and self-care management skills
  • Financing your young adult’s health care

In addition, the health section of the NPCTE website includes a comprehensive health assessment transition planning checklist, designed to be completed by parents and youth together.

WATCH NEW VIDEO ON CYBERBULLYING, LEARN HOW TO GET STUDENTS INVOLVED

Students with Solutions, a partnership between PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center and Clarisonic, has released “Teen Talk on Cyberbullying.” This unscripted video is designed to provide authentic insight and perspectives from peers on cyberbullying.

Students with Solutions is an initiative that engages students to address bullying through videos, art, and writing.
