Project Pride Services

Information is distributed on a variety of vocational and related topics, including:

  • Independent Living

Services include:

  • Individual assistance, call a PACER advocate to discuss your concerns and questions,
  • Workshop presentations in your community for persons with disabilities and their families or advocates; topics include the Rehabilitation Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, assistive technology, supported employment, transition, and workforce consolidation. Visit PACER’s workshops for a list of current topics or contact PACER to discuss scheduling a workshop,
  • Publications on the Rehabilitation Act and related topics for youth in transition from high school to community,
  • Culturally diverse staff to meet the needs of all persons with disabilities in the community,
  • Training for community teams consisting of professionals, families or advocates and persons with disabilities, and
  • Developing more effective strategies to work with professionals in your community for team building among people with disabilities, their families and professionals.
