Current Practices and New Directions in Vocational Rehabilitation, Postsecondary Education, and Career Development for Youth with Disabilities

- Speakers have been invited to speak on findings emerging from Social Security’s Transition Demonstration projects, higher education options for youth with intellectual and other disabilities, the reauthorization of the Workforce Investment Act, vocational assessment, competitive employment for individuals with significant disabilities, and youth development. Young self-advocates involved in local, state or national leadership activities will also be presenting.
