Who Benefits?

Families of youth with all disabilities were served.

  • 15,274 youth, family members, advocates, and professionals attended trainings, presentations, and information booths sponsored by RSA-funded parent training programs.
  • 16,600 is the number of interactions RSA-funded parent training programs had with youth, family members, advocates, and professionals through direct telephone assistance, one-on-one consultations, meetings, mailings, individual on-line assistance, and electronic listservs.
  • 326,684 homes and offices received project information through newsletters, radio, and mass mailings.
  • 19% of individuals attending trainings and presentations were from culturally and racially diverse backgrounds.
  • 10% of individuals receiving information and referral assistance over the telephone, in person, or via the Internet were from culturally and racially diverse backgrounds.
  • 82,898 people visited project Web sites
