I Care Because

I do not like seeing others hurting. I care because any type of pain for a child or teen is wrong and needs to be stopped.

I am being bullied at school right now and i just cant take it anymore. It;s so hard because people are being mean and aggresive and disrespectful to me and i am afraid to speak...I just need someone... :'(

Christofer, 15, Athens, Greece

I've been bullied a lot before and I want to help people who have been in my situation. I want to make a difference in the world and help people.

I have been bullied because my love for anime is "too extreme". People have picked on me for the way I run, the things I like, and the clothes I wear. It is not fair to judge me based on my love for japanese culture. I care because I feel everyone should be able to enjoy what they love and what they do without the cruel judgements of "normies". Thanks to PACER's, I have been able to feel accepted.

I care because I have been bullied. I hated being pushed around and made fun of, but I eventually turned things around for myself. The stupid part about it is that I became the bully and I didn't even realize it. Just because he/she is laughing doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. Just because others are laughing doesn't mean it's right.

DJ, 17, Alabama

When I was younger, I was bullied. Then, just this past year, I realized that joking around with one of my friends, it was actually considered bullying, what I was doing. As soon as I figured that out, I stopped. But I still feel bad. Bullying can be unintentional. It just probably isn't common.

Erin, 12, NC

I left a school because I was always bullied by other girls. I speak out because no should ever get so sacred they stay away from school or from the outside world in general. I so happy that I'm at a new school and can finally speak out aganst bullying.

Siara, 13, Washington

My Best Friend was bullied!!!!!!

Casey, 13, LA

I care because I have depression.I know what it feels like to feel so little, and sad, I wouldn't want anyone feeling this way because some bully wanted to decide how much they're worth. Everyone is unique, and brings something different and new to the table.
