I Care Because

I was bullied for many years, growing up. Growing up, I was considered to be an ugly duckling. Well, before blossoming, I was bullied and made fun of to the point where I ran home everyday after school, hysterically crying. It has had such a profound effect on my life. I now have a child who has special needs, and will live the rest of his life facing unfair challenges. On top of the challenges that he already faces, one of my biggest fears is that he will be bullied just as I was...

Melissa, 35, AZ

I care because I teach students with special learning needs and I wish everyone could appreciate them the way I do.

Susan, 32, Whitby ON

I have been bullied before and it doesn't feel good to feel like your going to get beat up everyday you go to school. I get bullied everyday by people that hate me I have no idea why they hate me i don't know what I did wrong, sometimes they lie about me and make me have to go to the pricable for something that I didn't even do but I eventually get over it, it doen't feel good to get bullied and I want it to stop.

Bella, 11, UT

I went through a minor depression myself, that is why I stand up for what is right at my school. My friend is going through tough times himself. He has no Mother, Farther or siblings. Everyday I see him, trade greetings, be friends.

I always help someone in need. I help, I care, I befriend.

Joshua, 11,

Just because someone is diffrent doesn't mean there wierd it just means there more special. People just need to understand and take a stand because bulying is a big issue and no one deserves to be treated unfairly

Librada, 15, PA

No one should have to feel that they are not worth it or they are not pretty or handsome, they should be able to be themselves without people judging them or making fun of them. When people make jokes they're just like ?oh, it was just a joke, I didn?t really mean it? rightttt NO, we have feelings too? Me, I?m a very serious person, I can?t take a joke, but it HURTS me why can?t they understand that? I feel bad for people who have been cyberbullied or bullied because people just don?t seem to understand that EVERYONE has feelings, just as every other human being in the world.
