Star-studded Kids Help Children Event to Benefit PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center

The stars will be out Sunday, Aug. 19 for “Kids Help Children,” a fun-filled day of music and teen celebrities to be held from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Hilton Hotel in Anaheim, Calif. The family-friendly fundraiser will benefit PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center.

Among the young stars scheduled to attend are Kenton Duty (“Shake It Up!”), Dakota Hood (“Hunger Games”), Ryan Ochoa (“iCarly”), and Stefanie Scott (“A.N.T. Farm”). After the stars make their way down the red carpet, attendees will have the opportunity to meet their favorite celebrities, get autographs, and have their pictures taken with the stars. Throughout the afternoon, guests can enjoy balloon artists, bounce houses, face painting, visiting animals from SeaWorld, and more. There will also be a concert featuring Savvy & Mandy (Radio Disney), Austin Anderson (“Victorious”), and Temara Melek, plus other surprise performers.

“We are so appreciative of the work so many people have put into planning this event,” said Julie Hertzog, director of PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center. “It’s wonderful that all of these teen celebrities are willing to give their time and talent to support bullying prevention.”

Following the event, which is sponsored by DirecTV and Papa John’s Pizza, the celebrity guests will be recording public service announcements in support of PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Month in October.
