>> Hey, there. Welcome back to PACER Talks About Bullying. I'm Bailey, and we're so glad you're here.

Today we're excited to bring you another episode where we answer some of your most frequently asked questions in 60 seconds or less. The question we'll be answering today is what are some ways students can support a peer who's experiencing bullying?

Now that you know more about today's question, let's get into the video. As a student, it's important to know there are lots of options when it comes to supporting a peer being bullied. When you take action, however that looks for you, it's important that you feel safe. It's not up to you to stop the bullying, but your support can make a huge difference.

Here are three possible ways to take action. One way is to talk with an adult. This can include reporting the bullying or seeking advice on how to respond. The second idea is to redirect the situation. This isn't about confrontation or getting in the middle of a fight. It's about supporting the person being bullied such as helping them get away from the situation or changing the subject. And the third possible way is reaching out to the person being bullied. So often students who experience bullying feel alone. Let them know that you're there for them by inviting them to sit with you at lunch or just being available for conversation.

And, with that, that's a wrap on this week's episode of PACER Talks About Bullying. Make sure to join us right back here next week as we have students answer the exact same question. We'll see you then. And, remember, together we can create a world without bullying.

See ya.
