People at my school called me fat and ugly. Although this was terrible, worse than that was the fact that my best friend did the same thing.  From this experience I learned that beauty isn't about having a pretty face. It's about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart and a pretty soul.  Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself.

I don't understand. How can people do horrible things to those around themselves. I am going on my 3rd year of being bullied and each year i stand up for myself by telling my schools principals only to get in trouble and be punished. I believe that the "no bullying policy" is a bunch of crap because in my opinion it protects the person who is bullying. It is wrong and life should not be like this.

I see bullying everyday and its not just the stereotypical big kid beats up on little kid stuff. I'm a six foot tall, 15 year old girl; and I have been bullied by people way smaller than me for years. Now its not me being bullied, but other people and about EVERYTHING. I started self-harming like Demi also. But my parents found out. They weren't mad. They understood what I was going through. So I got help, and Im feeling greater than ever. I care because I am being bullied and I know it hurts. Honestly, it's really hard to go to school because I'm so scared that I'm going to get bullied again. I want to make my school a bully-proofed school, and soon. My family and I are going to start working on getting a celeb who was bullied as a kid to help me get a petition out and signed, and the entire student body into the auditorium for a presentation (with a celeb) about bullying and preventing it. Bullying has happened to me and I don't want this to happen to anybody else. What I felt was agony, pain, and the feeling that no one cared about me anymore. Even though there were people there for me, I just felt like I was worthless. The bullies made me feel like everybody in high school was like them. I was bullied from elementary school until high school. Rumors were spread about me, I was physically attacked, spit on, called names. Anything that other students could do to make my life miserable they did. My life was pure *!$*. I still do not know to this day why I was the target. Even today at 34 I am dealing with anxiety and flashbacks from being bullied. Bullying has a lifetime effect.  It breaks my heart every time I see on the news a student kills themselves because they see no other way out of being bullied. when i was in 7th grade i met a girl...whom i can't mention her name..but she was been bullied and made fun of, that she smells,doesn't bath and lots of harsh things. she got tired and keeps things to herself, i tried being her friend because i was picked on in 5th grade and i knew how it felt, so i tried to convince her that she can open up to me and trust me.it took a while but when she opened up finallyyy. she busted out in tears..now she hides her emotions and swore never to forgive them.....bullying is making peoples lives difficult and painful!!!
