I Care Because

I have been bullied since Pre School and I am now in 2nd grade. I am the 2009 Minnesota You Can Do It Princess, it was a pageant for girls ages 5-24 who have special needs or challenges. I do not want any more kids to have to be picked on for any reason. Let's take a stand as one to stop this from happening to other kids!

I care because every human being has the right to be comfortable with who they are!

Ive never been bullied before now. Im not used to people calling me bad things and hating me. If its this hard for mw, i feel horrible for the other people being bullied right now.

Lindsey, 15, California

Bullying is a serious thing. I've been bullied before and it hurts. It hurts a lot. It feels like everyone hates you. I even thought of suicide when I was bullied, even attempted it. My friends stopped me.They showed me they cared. They made me feel important. They made me feel like a HUMAN BEING. That's why I care. We all deserve to be loved. Love you all. Hope you take care of your bullying situations and inspire others!

i have been bullied all throughout my 6th grade ,
the reason i was being bullied was because i have red hair
i know it dosnt sound like much but i was being called a ranger
continuisly, and i didnt want to tell anyone because i was embaraced
of the name but it really hurt,
reading all these storys made me realise how searious this is and i wish with all my hart that we could all work together to stop this !!

ashly, 11, newzealand

at first, I was bullied for my size. Then I was bullied for my effeminate qualities. Although it was sometimes a hurtful experience, supports were available to help me through the struggle - my family, my teachers, and my lifelong friends. Help is out there. Hesitation is a deadly habit. I will only push forwards and reflect. Work on bettering yourself and work on growing to understand a bully. You have an incredible means of problem solving. You will face various adversities in your life? You are not alone; don't stray from your ambitions. I love you. Work at it and keep strong.
