I Care Because

It's so terrible knowing that people have to deal with this. I was bullied and I got help but not everyone can be so lucky. I hope this yearly UNITY day brings to light how hard it is for people...

I belive that everyone has a right to enjoy life, and not be bothered about being bullied. Some time you think your not bullyng people, but in reality you are and it hurts people, but some people just cannot come to realize it. Bullyng people leads the targets to doing crazy things, and if they do the bully will or should regret it awfully. Nobody should have to deal with bulying, EVER!

Sarah, 13, WA

I was bullied when I was in grade 6, so I had no friends. I tried to befriend them...but they didn't like me because of my look. So I also care for people who are also bullied like me.Even if you don't feel or you don't think you are beautiful....You are beatiful.Beauty is always in the inside.

I too have been bullied in the work place as have others by one single employee. She continues to get promoted and the rest of us sit in limbo because the top management is afraid of her lies and fabrication of events.
This made me stop and think of all those who are vulnerable and not able to do anything about Bullying.
Thank you for highlighting this issue. It goes to show that bullying comes in to all ages, and in every single walk of life.

Kathy, 65, Minneapolis, MN

I care because I know many people who are bullied. My friend Brady has been bullied close to every day at school, since second grade. It is summer, and we are going into 8th grade. He is sad a lot, and I can see right through his plastic smile. Another friend and I saw the movie Bully, and it made me cry. We are starting a permanent anti-bullying program at school. I encourage you to see Bully. Or start an anti-bully thing at school.Remember, the end of bullying begins with us.
