Im now 23 years old and I still remember being bullied like it was yesterday. It started in elementary and all the way up to high school. Some years were better than others. Finally my senior year it wasn't so bad. It even went on in college. Don't be afraid to talk to someone about the way you're feeling. If you hold it in it'll only build up. You don't want that to happen and eventually build a hate for those who bully you. Talk to the bullies and ask them why. Let them know that it bothers you. Whether you believe it or not they may be dealing with problems which is why they pick on you. Its not right but it happens. Stand up for yourself by telling someone and sitting down to talk about it. It doesn't make you scary and or snitch... it makes you STRONG!

MANDI, 23,

Being bullyied is not "part of life". It is something that no one should experience. I know, because I've been bullied too. Luckily, the boy next to me stood up for me. If you see someone being bullied, stand up for them, please. It changed my life and now I am best friends with the boy that sat next to me. Stand up and be brave!

At night while the others slept, we kept walking the tightrope, it was practice and yeah some of us fell. But I want to tell them that all of this is just debris of when we finally decide to smash what we thought we used to be. If you can’t find anything beautiful about yourself, get a better mirror, look a little closer, STARE a little longer, because there is something inside of you that made you keep trying.
-Shane Koyczan (To This Day, a message to the bullied and the beautiful)

Keep trying no matter how much they push you down.

Bullying is wrong and everyone who is being bullied should hang in there and stay strong. Who cares what bullies think? You should be proud of yourself and keep your head up! No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. My advice? Don't hurt yourself;just keep your head up and always tell somebody.Don't struggle on your own. I wish to all of you the best of luck!
