I Care Because

I think bullying matters because alot of kids think it is funny to hurt others but it does not just hurt others it can cause alot more then that! If we can all work together bullying can end!

Yes, I am sixty-four it's not a typo. I was bullied (verbally, socially and physically) in my youth and still carry around some behavioral baggage as a result. Trusting other people is still one of these issues. I can't be sure if they are being sincere and honest with me or if they are telling me things in an effort to manipulate and use me for their own purpose.

I read an article in Seventeen magazine today about Pheobe Prince - and it turned my life around. I will no longer be the bully, I will be the prevention. I will no longer put-down, I will build up. I will not cause the things those bullies of Pheobe did - I will not cause death. I will not cause suffering. I will not cause pain. I will not bully.

Bullying is more devasting then people realize. Words can hurt and leave an impact on someone's life.If you were to say a hurtful comment to someone think about if you would of liked it said to you. Think twice before you say something. If you see someone get bullied, don't just stand there. Bystanders are just as bad as the bully if they just stand there and do nothing.

i am currently suffering from acne, acne has destroyed everything ! from my self confidence to about everything else. In middle school you see ton and tons of girls put on make up to cover their acne and its sooooo tempting to fit in, but i hate to think that im just letting socity get in my way to become care free and just . . . happy. I did get sucked in to it, but since this week, I WORE NO MAKEUP !!! and im keeping it that way for a long time! I was so absessed with my self i havent really focused on my studies, although i always had higher than a 3.5 gpa, i believed i could have done alot better, with a straight a sister, you have to be challenged! So im on my way to a 4.0 gpa this quarter!
