I Care Because

ive been bullied for years and im sick of me and others going through this

Aiden, 12, colorado

I've been bullied before. People don't realize how much words hurt. I have a learning disability. I take a while to process information and I don't read that well. People make fun of me and call me stupid. I also have been harassed on the internet. People don't take the time to realize how badly things can hurt. They take it too far. It takes some people such a long time to realize how much words can actually hurt more than actions. I really wish bullying would stop. Sometimes, i'll just start breaking out crying out of no where because of how rude some people can be. Bullying is so wrong and it should really stop. I'm so thankful for my best friends that have stuck by me, as well as my family.

Katie, 14, NJ

I care because (even though i've never been 'bullied') i could imagine that it would be a never ending tunnel of PAIN. I've had people talk about me, start rumors, and i've lost friends. Thats hurt a lot already. I don't consider it bullying. But im trying to make a change. Pheobe Prince was bullied because she was from ireland? I may be only 13 but thats absolutley WRONG! But i just wanted to comment. Share my thoughts. If someones being bullied don't just stand there. DO SOMETHING! :)

Meaghannnn, 13, MA

I know how bullying can affect you. I know how it can make you feel like you're useless. You are not! Do not let anyone bring you down. <3

Mary, 17, Missouri

I care because i see a lot of people at my school get bullied, not only them but also myself and it hurts. I know people whose been hospitalized because of bullying and i know people who self-harm. When i see it happen to someone else... i talk to them afterwards to see if they're okay but when it happens to me, i just take it and it hurts so much. There's no one that cares about me when it happens, so i care about others because i know what it is like to have nobody there for you and i just want it too stop. I want it to stop so much.
