I Care Because

Millions of kids are bullied, And sometimes commit suicide. It isn't funny, It's wrong.

Adriana, 13, IL

I was bullied and hurt and depressed in high school. It's not always outright. Sometimes people are quiet about it, people are cruel. I have little sisters and a two year old daughter that I want to grow up in a kind world and a better world.

India, 20, Utah

It's jus t not safe. I really don't like bullying. The words "Sticks and Stones might break my bones but names will never hurt me" is not true. Bullying counts the same BOTH mentally AND physically. So let's stop it together!

Alex, 13, Baltimore

I care because everyone is human. Everyone has feelings. When I was in 4th grade, up until 6th or 7th people would make fun of me and call me mustachio because I had a bit of upper lip hair. They'd call me a guy, and it bothered me so much because obviously I am a girl. I hated it, I wanted to go away and never come back. Everyone needs to realize everything they say could potentially effect someone's life. Which could effect someone else's life. You could be the start of a horrible chain reaction.

Cassandra, 15, PA

I care because i don't like seeing people down. No one can tell you who you are, what to do and how to be. Everyone is awesome and unique in their own way and that's more than enough.People shouldn't have to hide or feel they should need to be isolated from the world.

Osasha, 14, Pennsylvania

I Was bullied for years in school, from grade 4 till I eventually got my diploma through correspondance. Sometimes I Still get called ugly online. I care because no one should be ripped down for being different, allegedly ugly, or anything.

Amy, 30, On

My friend Elizabeth and I are best friends. We are working together as partners to end bullying in our school. We are writing speeches, hanging signs, and making shirts. We are tired of everyone getting bullied. Oor school is really bad on it, so we decided to take it upon ourselves to consult our teachers about starting a bullying patrol... And we succeeded. Let's hope the bullying goes down. Because the bullying needs to stop.
