I Care Because

I care because many people have commited sucide over things like this and I just want them to know it gets better. I was bullied, and it was really hard for me to deal with that. Even now it's STILL hard for me I don't get as harsh comments infact I barely get them at all but I still have that same pain with me. And im only 12. I was called fat, ugly, worthless, and I was even pushed around and getting into fights. But, that didn't change the fact that I still had hope. My family was not very supportive in these situations because I kept quiet about it. Don't keep quiet, let them know. Espeacially if it starts to get really serious! Don't be scared to better your future you have a chance! So take it. And hold on to it for as long as you live.

Taylor, 13, Ca

i've been bullied horribly my whole life and stayed home from school and hid in the bathroom in fear and i dont want other people to go through what me and so many others are going through.

Victoria, 13, NJ

I was diagnosed with partial deafness aged 5 and the kids in my school then used to pick on me because of it. I had to be taken from the local school and sent to a school further away to prevent this. At the time, it made me feel like I was worthless and that because of my disability I couldn't be as good as the other children. Since moving away from the local school, I've learned that this is not the case.

i've been bullied a couple of times, and often times it brings me down but now i've found out about this movement and it makes me feel that i'm not alone that's wahy i really appreciate this movement a lot :)

I care because everyone is human. Everyone has feelings. When I was in 4th grade, up until 6th or 7th people would make fun of me and call me mustachio because I had a bit of upper lip hair. They'd call me a guy, and it bothered me so much because obviously I am a girl. I hated it, I wanted to go away and never come back. Everyone needs to realize everything they say could potentially effect someone's life. Which could effect someone else's life. You could be the start of a horrible chain reaction.
