I Care Because

I care because I have had personal experiences with bullying. It's not right to put someone down just to bring you to the illusion that you are better than them. I hope that those who bully will eventually realize tat what they are doing is wrong.

When will it be enough for people to realize, that hurting people isnt the answer. Jealous, Anger, Depression, Family Affairs and much much more drive people to bully. But why! It happens in the hallways in the bathroom locker rooms facebook face to face gossiping. And it brings me to tears to hear about so many percious lives being lost because people are careless about their actions. im constanly bullied through school and yeah the teachers talk about it but they never do anything about it!!

Emily, 13, ca

Bullying is a very cruel thing. No bully knows what it feels like to be bullied. I am takinng a stand against bullying and putting a stop to it when I see it.

Kelcy, 14, Kansas

i care, my lil brother who is a special child was bullied, i love my little brother. and i can't do anything cause i'm far from him and i really want to protect my brother from bullies, my lil brother was love in school, my family and his friends. i care for those who are being bullied like my kid brother, teachers and the school faculty members should do something about it. one of his classmates hit his head on the table, and i felt horrible just hearing about it. hope someone can do something. i can't just sit here and do nothing.

I know the feeling of being cut down by the things you're most self concious of and wishing your teacher wouldn't turn they're head the other way. The feeling of being taunted because your small and easy to intimidate. To have nasty rumors spread causing friends question you. Bullying is relentless and I'm lucky to have had a few friends who knew me and backed me up to helped end my bully's attempts to ruin me. Bullying effects so many people's lives and I'm happy to be a single voice of many against bullying.
