In Memoriam

Hard to wrap my head around the fact that Paula has passed. Such an icon to the disability community and genuine friend to all who had the privilege to call her their friend. A life well lived Paula. As you would often say, “ You are terrific”. May you Rest In Peace, my friend!

Kay Lipsitz - Oxford, Mississippi

In 1997, Paula welcomed me into the PTI network of strong, fierce, and loving women (it was mostly women back then), and provided me wise guidance over the decades. I have fond and fun memories of bouncing in her wake in Washington as we race-walked through Congressional office buildings. Her generosity of spirit was always palpable. I love you, Paula. Thank you for everything you did.
